Conference Plus Conference Calling Service Provider Features Review

Conference Plus Conference Calling Service Provider Features Review

This article provides a detailed review of the  Conference Plus Conference Calling Service Provider . It lists various features and business benefits of Conference Plus Conference Calling Service Provider.

There are several highlighted features that can be found through this conference call system. Among the conference call services provided are audio and web video options, meeting record and replay, blocked entry, a participant list and multiple presenter controls. The downfall in this area is that there is no way to send automated invites and RSVPs for your conference call, so all invites must be done through your personal account.

File Sharing:

The conference call services that are available allow you to share documents, files and applications through the product interface. The host or presenter has the ability to share their entire desktop to take participants on a web tour or to show them specific highlights of an application. The file sharing is displayed in real time and the screen display options can be changed with the click of a button.

Interactive Abilities:

The ConferencePlus plan allows conference hosts to poll their participants to receive immediate feedback and share the results in real time for discussion or feedback. Question and answer is also one of our favorite abilities provided. It allows participants to submit questions to the host, moderator or presenter for immediate answers. A whiteboard and chat capabilities are also available but there are no post meeting report or survey capabilities. If your meeting requires minimal interaction you may have everything you need in this service.

Ease of Use:

After signing up for this conference call service, you will receive an email with login information. The email also contains a link that will navigate you to the home page to sign in but you can also access the home page through their website. Once you have officially signed in to the system you will be taken to the My Account dashboard. This window allows you to manage your account, create or schedule meetings, retrieve reports and access tutorials and other tools. Creating and using the web conferencing features is easy and once you select “create” to create a new web conference, the system will provide a designated area for you to fill in the details regarding your conference, for example: expected participants, web conference service option, PIN registration and dial-in options. Once you have connected to your conference call, the features and tools can be accessed through a toolbar and although the design doesn’t provide the greatest ease it is still simple to use and navigate.

Help & Support:

Through their website you can fill out a form to reach customer support; however, it took them approximately a month to get back to us and answer our questions after filling out the form. The best way we feel a user can get in touch with the company is through their toll-free phone number. We were quickly connected to a customer service representative who answered our questions and was very patient as we chose which web conferencing plan was right for us. They also offer tutorials and an online account management system for help. Their technical support could be improved with chat capabilities.

Summary:

For a selection of web conferencing choices for small to large businesses ConferencePlus may have your solution. Their web package provides you with access to Microsoft Office Live Meeting. If Live Meeting doesn’t fit your needs, they also offer Cisco WebEx and IBM LotusLive. Although they offer the same services, their online account management system is designed differently and we found the other interface designs to be more user-friendly and accessible.
